I H8 TECHNOLOGY!!!

Spent the past few days laptopless...so, my savvy compatrots, should I replace motherboard or just say eff-it and start anew?

Depends on the type of laptop. Usually if the mobo goes on one, it is best to just get a new one.

I say "eff-it" unless it's going to be prohibitively 'spensive. Don't forget about transfering the data too.
