Oh Canuck...you know you are well-loved here. This would not be a problem between us unless or until a highly unlikely World Series showdown should occur. I will spot you the occasional interleague game.

If the Cubs and the Tigers were ever against each other for the Series...I'd be one happy woman, because I'd be downright thrilled with either outcome.

I just found your blog (which is lovely, by the way), but when I read this post I knew I had to comment.

I'm a fourth generation Yankee fan, I even bleed pinstripes, but if it came down to Game 7 between the Cubs and Yanks, I'd be rooting for the Cubs.

Everybody, I think, is a Cubs fan deep down.

Except maybe White Sox fans. Or Cardinals fans. Or...

Welcome Billy! I'm married to a Yankees man. He is not the obnoxious braggart sort of Yankees fan, or I'd be a widow...so we do coexist peacefully. And being the good sport I think he'd want the drought to end if it came down to it. Or again, I'd be testing the theory that black is slimming...
