Why not?

Who better to give your first official interview as President of the United States to than Al-Arabiya?

Let's spread the love like we're gonna spread the wealth!

Some notable quotes:

What I told [Sen. George Mitchell] is start by listening, because all too often the United States starts by dictating

Yeah, I was listening when my husband called to tell me to flip on the tv on 9-11-01. The sound of the second plane hitting the WTC is something I'll never forget, Mr. President.

My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that Americans are not your enemy

See above. Yeah. We weren't Japan's enemy either, but that didn't stop them from bombing the sh*t outta Pearl Harbor. Note to to the Chief Executive: THEY DON'T LIKE US NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LIKE THEM!

and then there's this:

[He also noted that he has Muslim relatives]

Hey Barry - say hi to Uncle Achmed for me...

St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.

Adopting an apologetic tone is fatal when dealing with thugs like this.

A conciliatory approach to the Islamofascists is akin to playing Russian roulette with 5 slugs in the chamber.

('Conciliatory is my $2.00 word for today. Due to the economy, I can only afford to use one per day)

My take on the whole thing is this: we're getting the government we deserve for the idiocy of electing it! I'm not sure the force of his personality will keep the coalition he has formed together, and public dissent is already happening.

On other posts (the weather is affecting the old rhuematiz, so I don't want to type much) Helo Mom, your heloing is going smoother than this helo dads! But then, my youngest is 23, has kid and a divorce and is more than a little wierd!

Let's not forget his "slip" of mentioning "my Muslim faith" earlier this year when he was talking to a friendly US report.

Sure, people make these sorts of "mistakes" all the time. I mean, I constantly say things like "My Buddist faith" etc. all the time.

Hey, any jihadists reading this: Barry's an apostate.

9/11 was just a warm up for what's coming next courtesy of Obama.

To be honest this has shocked me. Okay I remember that rather odd interview he gave where he seemed to think Iran had a rational guy in charge-and I wondered where he had been the last few years; And he did seem to have no real understanding of the horror of 9/11. Does he even know about 7/7 over here?
But "America is not your enemy"- Pass the bucket!!! Does he have ANY clue what terrorists think or believe? Does he get briefed EVER!?
I was honestly shocked at how silly that statement was. Doesn't he know they have DECIDED to make America (and us here in the UK) the enemy? Doesn't he get that?
Sorry, I'm going on a bit- but honestly, I don't think even Gordobn Brown would have said something so dim. (Well okay, maybe he would...)

St. Micheal, defend us in battle...

This guy's just an idiot, almost like letting a teenager run the world. (Only perhaps we'd be better off with the teen)
