Nobility of spirit needs no Nobel

Irena Sendler saved 2,500 children from the Nazis.

Al Gore received more votes, and the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, for sketchy information about climate change.

Don't forget about the Oscar too, for Best Actor in a Comedy....well, it should have been!

But justice will be served. He who seeks reward in the here and now will be repaid in the here and now. He (or in this case, she) who works for justice will be rewarded where it counts.

Kit, I didn't realise that when Al Gore and his dodgy-doc received the Nobel Prize that this heroic woman was also in for the vote. What were those eedjits on when they voted?

But then I listened to Fr Benedict Groeschel recently and his reaction when Mother Theresa was given an honary doctorate at Harvard was "Giving Mother an honary doctorate is like making Jesus a Monsignor."
AS you say Kit this wonderful woman doesn't need a Nobel Prize she has her Reward. May she pray for us.
