Mundane Monday

OK, I am recovered from my Red Zone rage of Friday. And - bonus - no friggin' snow day today. We had 2 last week, plus the MLK holiday. 8 days out of 10 at home with girls who had not quite enough to keep them occupied. Normally, I love being home with the kids, but there are only so many days of nonstop pajama wearing, cookie baking, and couch potato-ing a body can handle. So here I sit on my usual Monday-off, with Prince Cinquedente (5th tooth appeared over the weekend, hence he is no longer Prince Monofang) snuggled in for a nap beside me, wondering which old movie to watch. I just got "Fire Over England," "Captain Blood," "The Black Swan" and "Goodbye Mr. Chips" over the weekend in my latest Amazon order. Yay!

Can't think of a nicer way to spend the day! Bet you had Scott's Porage oats for breakfast and Walker's shortbread for tea as well!

Yes on the Porage Oats, sadly...no on the shortbread. We had chocolate chips instead after school due to the mass baking sessions during the extended school break. Not that chocolate chips are bad...we just have several hundred in tins and bags in the freezer!
