Oh, all RIGHT!!!
More fun with avatars...the girls wanted to make a daddy avatar. He has been awarded a spot on the sidebar. Out of privacy concerns for the family - especially when one has adolescent females to protect - I don't use their names or put their "real "pictures up. Similarly, while I use my real nickname (Kit), my last name on the blog is a derivation (translated from its European origin) of my real maiden name. If I ever write a cheap, trashy romance novel...well, you'll know it's me!

Hi Kit, Exactly my concerns - I've heard some real horror stories about pictures being taken from the internet, but I didn't want to offend anyone who does use photos of their family. Anyway, we all thought it was great fun and it was amazing how close you could actually get to the real thing!
It really is scary, especially with the girls. The baby is still a baby, so he's a bit more "anonymous," but not for too much longer. I am a FREAK about the girls and the internet. They have all sorts of filters on their personal email accounts, restrictions on time online, that sort of thing. Fortunately, they don't argue or question it much, because they've seen and heard some real life horror stories close to home (cyberbullying at the local school, a relative who dumped his family for an internet liason, etc.). They know my position and...so far...respect it.
