"Survivor 73"

This is the shirt my 13 year old wears to her quasi-Catholic school on "free dress" days - we bought it at the EWTN gift shop 18 months ago...(story for a later time). This is what it says:
Since 1973 1/3 of my generation
has been slaughtered
by abortion at the date of
4000 babies per day.
My friends....My classmates....My generation
compromised by the selfishness of others.
As a survivor I will not let
future generations be murdered
in the name of convenience.
I will not be silent.
I will not forget
I will not compromise.
She gets unfavorable looks from some of the leftist teachers and crap from some of her classmates, but she stands firm, and she answers questions and critics. I hope and pray she remains resolute and active in the fight.
Anyway. It's available on the EWTN website catalogue under "specialty items" and "apparel" (I have yet to figure out how to link stuff - sorry)

How funny! Quasi Catholic School. Our local Catholic school doesn't have a catechism on premises because it is too "devisive."

Did you see my rant on our daughter's Confirmation from a few weeks back? (See Maria Goretti post.) I tell you, it's maddening. She had to watch "An Inconvenient Truth" in Social Studies and write a supportive paper about it...which she didn't do so well on because she said (and I quote): "Al Gore came across as a major drama queen." I am still waiting for the school to provide the balancing point of view. Yeah. Like that'll happen.
