We were just about to tell the girls, too. At least I can hold off on that for a few days until I can do so with some semblance of equanimity.
Please remember our family and all our little angels in your prayers.
I'll be back soon.

Ben
So sorry for your loss. I'll remember your little one in my prayers today.
Kit I am so sorry. I've been praying so much for you and badgering St Catherine.
Congratulations on this little baby however short a time s/he stays.
God bless you and comfort you and the family.
Kit,
You will be in our prayers; we've been through it, as have many couples, if that is any comfort.
So sorry for your loss Kit.
I'm so sorry. Please know I'll be praying for you all.
Oh, sigh, so very sorry, and may prayers are with you and your family.
Kit, so sorry to hear the news, God bless you and yours.
*pat*pat*
for what good they do, you and your family are in my prayers.
Prayers and hugs.
So sorry, been there. Will pray for you at Mass today.
Kit,
I feel a bit odd asking this of you, given your circumstances, but as someone who understands and as someone of great faith, I am asking for your prayers. If you read the post and comments on "Good News I Got Today", you will see why. No one knows the early fear (will this go to term? will the baby be born normal?) as someone who has been there, as both of us have (for me, the score is two births, four losses). This is the very first time for my friend - at 41 and told to expect nothing, I can imagine it is a frightening experience.
I'm so sorry. If you get a chance it might comfort you (I found it be a huge help) to visit the web site for the Shrine of the Unborn at Holy Inocents Chruch in NYC.
Everyone - thanks SO much for all your concern and care (see 2 posts above).
Thorn and Dymphna - special thanks to you both, I know you've trod this particular path with me, too.
Digi - of course! Get your friend a St. Catherine medal, encourage her to relax, look to the milestones each week (getting past that 1st trimester, 20 weeks = halfway, 24 weeks = viability, 32 weeks = excellent prognosis, and so on...) the time flew for me. And I just hope and pray it will again. If not, I'm thrilled with how blessed I've been.
PS Digi - meant to add you in as a fellow traveller, too - a small Boy and my laptop are at war!
