Still here...

...just a whirlwind week with the recovering post-appendix Princess here at home. No time for the laptop at all.

And I have to say it, just between me, you and the internet, I'm really not into the spiritual reflection mode that I usually am at this point in the liturgical calendar year. I haven't had a chance to get my laundry done, for cryin' out loud! So I'm feeling Lentless.

I'm trying. I really am.

Okay, grandma person here giving you some advice. (I saw the time you started the post.) You need to ask for help - if for nothing more than keeping your children entertained for a few hours. Do what you want while you have a sitter hired - clean, sleep, do laundry, shop, or go visit with a friend. No mom can be super mom all the time. Please know that you are being scolded in the kindest way. God Bless!

Thank you - and no offense taken. I am considering my options. I have to get out more. Alone. But the real question for when the time comes...do I go to the gym or to my friend's martini bar? ;-)

Friend's martini bar. But put at least three olives in it for the health benefits.

Kit, I have a very hard time with prayer. There are days I think I might have undiagnosed ADHD. However, as I sit and create a map to hand out after the Masses this weekend to show people where to go for the vigil next weekend outside of Planned Parenthood . . . that's my prayer. Remember The Little Flower - even in the smallest of ways . . .

Glad Packrat said it first. You need to follow her advice.

And to add to Digi - gym first then the martini (three anchovy stuffed olives)

Feeling Lentless does, unfortunately, happen. This year I'm thinking God didn't like what I picked for my penance and is giving me other things.

I think the advice given here by others is sound. And smile - we dropped the package in the mail today, so sometime mid to late next week, you'll have a crappy home movie of our wedding to tear up over! ;-)

Seriously - big e-hugs to you and yours. We're thinking about youse guys.

If you haven't had a chance to get your laundry done, you're also Lintless...!
