My Alma Mater, My Tribe...

...my head is hanging in shame for both. Here's why. There has been such a resurgence of faith and vocations coming out of there in recent years (a far cry from my wild Big 10 days in the '80s).

Sheesh. I guess now we know where at least a little bit of that extra energy was coming from...

(Oh yes I did. I went there. *snark*)

"[To] two counts of delivery of less than 1 gram of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church..."

Ironic, isn't it? If he hadn't been a priest, more than likely he would not have been near a church at the time of the alleged transaction. There are more ironies here than I care to mention.

But this is far more tragic than ironic. Just imagine how all the students that looked up to him feel right now. Very sad.

Awww, my Spartans don't play your Illini this year. We can stay friends this Big 10 season (at least until basketball season!)

Snark aside, it really disturbs me that this has happened - the Neumann Center has been doing good work at U of I and producing vocations in record numbers...so it is not all that surprising that Satan is messing with 'em.
